Radius Heroes Awards 2021

We are delighted to open nominations for our Annual Radius Heroes Awards 2021 to celebrate the people and great things taking place in our communities.
 
The categories are:

Best Kept Garden
From glorious gardens to perfect plant pots, does where you live have what it takes to hold the title of Best Kept Garden? Tell us about the great work you and/or others have put into the garden within your scheme or home. Send us your videos/photos to show us the great work that has been put into your garden.  This award will be split into entries for Communal Gardens and those with a private garden.

Community Pride
Are you proud of the work your community has carried out and would like to show thanks for the positive impact they have made in the last year? This award celebrates Radius communities working together. If there is a group or person where you live who has been a great example of Community Pride show your thanks and appreciation by nominating!

Healthy Living & Learning
This award is an opportunity to celebrate Radius communities who have been involved in local community projects such as, biodiversity, recycling, neighbourhood clean ups, mental health training etc. We want to share how your project has made a positive impact to those living in your local community.

Good Neighbour
Do you have a neighbour who is one in a million? Have they made a difference in your life? Do they go above and beyond all the rest? Let's show your appreciation for all that they do by nominating them for the Good Neighbour Award!

Creativity Award NEW
We are looking for a Radius tenant who has been creative over lockdown. Do you know someone who has shined bright with their creative skills? This could be anything from arts & crafts to revamping something within the Radius community. Let's showcase their great creative skills and nominate!

Lockdown Legend NEW
Do you know someone in the Radius community who deserves to be recognised for all their hard work and dedication to others during the pandemic? An individual that has gone to extraordinary lengths to help and support their neighbours & community without looking for recognition?  Show your appreciation and nominate!

Inspirational Young Person NEW
We want to celebrate the young people (aged 25 or under) living within our Radius communities. Do you know a young person who lives in the Radius community who has gone above and beyond to help others and make a positive contribution to their community?  Are they a great role model to other young people? They may have took part in fundraising, volunteering, befriending etc. Let's give them a great big thanks by nominating!

Criteria
These Awards are open to all tenants and residents living in Radius Housing within the following types: General Housing, Sheltered Housing and Housing for Over 55s (CAT1).
 
Nominations close: Friday, 4 June 2021
