Housing Developments
The Radius Development team are responsible for the commencement of 400 new homes on-site each year in line with the Social Housing Development Programme.
Our strategy is to provide a range of new homes for rent and also for affordable/private sale.
New Business Case Study
In July 2023, we were delighted to mark the official opening of Creevagh Heights in Derry, a major community and housing partnership project, providing over 100 new homes and a state of the art sports facility which will help revitalise the Creggan area of the City.
The project is an investment of more than £20million in the Creggan area, with the Department of Communities providing £10.7m funding, with £9.9M from Radius Housing for the new homes, while Derry City & Strabane District Council provided £600,000 for the new sports facilities. Support was also provided by Ulster GAA and Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
New Business Opportunities
Our Development team liaise closely with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to establish the areas of social housing need, and invite all proposals from landowners and developers. We are also looking for suitable sites for both the affordable and private markets.
