“NISEP Programme helps deliver more Energy Efficient Homes for over 100 Radius Housing tenants in 2017/18”

Funding secured from the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme (NISEP) helped Radius Housing Association deliver Energy Efficiency upgrades to the homes of an additional 108 of its tenants during the year-ended 31 March 2018.

Heating Measures were upgraded in 108 homes with additional upgrades to Insulation Measures completed in 10 of these properties with the help of NISEP.

The funding was secured following a successful bid to NISEP from Fusion Heating Limited, one of Radius Housing Association’s Heating Maintenance contractors.  Fusion Heating also installed the Energy Efficiency Upgrades, which consisted of replacing old inefficient oil heating systems with modern energy efficient Natural Gas Boilers and upgrading Loft Insulation where required.

Mark Kerr added “Fusion were delighted to be able to secure NISEP funding on behalf of Radius and to complete heating and insulation upgrades which will make it much easier for tenants to keep their homes warm going forward.”
