Glenalina Lodge to host recruitment Open Day Thursday April 24th

Glenalina Lodge, recently transformed by a £4 million refurbishment, is excited to announce a Recruitment Open Day on Thursday April 24th. This event offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in full-time and part-time Care and Support Assistant roles to explore a rewarding career in care—no appointment necessary.

 

Visitors will have the chance to:

  • Meet our dedicated team and learn about the vital role Care and Support Assistants play in enhancing the wellbeing and daily lives of residents.
  • Tour our state-of-the-art, newly refurbished facilities, including 50 modern ensuite flatlets and beautifully landscaped communal gardens designed for comfort and independence.
  • Interview for available positions on the day, streamlining the recruitment process for motivated candidates.

 

Open from 10am to 4pm during the day, and 6pm – 7pm in the evening this Open Day is ideal for anyone considering a career in care or for the families of prospective residents to view the accommodation and meet the staff who provide 24/7 support.  We are currently offering both full-time and part-time positions (up to 36 hours per week) with a pay rate of £12.61 per hour. In addition, we have opportunities for Care and Support Assistants (Nights), also available on a full-time or part-time basis (up to 36 hours per week), with a pay rate of £12.93 per hour.

As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support services, ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of our residents/tenants, safeguarding them from harm, and encouraging their active participation in the daily life of the scheme.
