Fold Sponsor East Belfast Football Club with new football kits

Fold Housing Association have sponsored the East Belfast Football Club 2004’s youth team’s new football kit. Fold are delighted to work with East Belfast Football Club as part of our community investment strategy.

The team consists of thirteen players all under the age of thirteen coached weekly by Gordon Smith and Alan Murphy who work voluntarily.

Andy Harwood, Academy Director of East Belfast FC said “We would like to thank Fold Housing Association for sponsoring one of our academy teams. This means a great deal to the club, team and children involved. The new strip helps the children know they are part of something special and adds to the team spirit and unity.

He added “East Belfast FC academy teams depend on the support of organisations such as Fold. We would like to say a massive thank you for this support.”

Grainne Mullin, Area Housing Manager at Fold Housing Association, Said “We are thrilled to be working with East Belfast Football club’s youth team as part of our community investment strategy. We have a significant number of homes in the Belfast area and have recently invested £13 million in the Ravenhill area. We are committed to assisting our tenants and the wider community with a range of projects.”

She added, “Clubs like East Belfast FC have fantastic health benefits for the children involved in sport and this new strip will give these children a sense of pride and team morale.”
