Board Member Liz Cuddy Awarded OBE

Liz Cuddy, Board Member within Radius Housing and Chief Executive of Southern Area Hospice has received an OBE in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours List. The award recognises Liz’s services to the Social and Affordable Housing sector in Northern Ireland.

Liz was former Chair of Helm Housing Association prior to the merger of Fold and Helm Housing, forming Radius Housing in April 2017.  Prior to her appointment at the Southern Area Hospice, Liz was the Director of Planning, Performance and Governance in the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service. She also has set up her own company offering consultancy, business support, interim management and leadership coaching to non-executives, executives and senior managers.

A Radius spokesperson said “We would like to congratulation our Board Member, Liz Cuddy on receiving this honour.  The Queen’s Birthday Honours List recognises the achievements of a wide range of extraordinary people and Liz’s contribution to the housing sector in Northern Ireland has been duly recognised.”
