The Community Development Bursary will support a candidate through a Community Development qualification with the Ulster University, and will cover fees with the possibility of additional funds being made available for limited expenses.
The course can last up to four years and the candidate would have the option to exit the course at Year 1, Year 2 or Year 3 with a qualification or exit at Year 4 with a BSc (Hons) Community Development.
Successful candidates will commit to support their community in the delivery of the Shared Housing Good Relations Plans in Ballymena and/or Newry.
This is a part-time qualification with training being 1 day per week in Belfast

Your cover letter should be no longer than one side of an A4 page and should state how you believe you could benefit from a qualification in community development and how you would use that to promote good relations in your current role.
One bursary will be available in each area.
